Enzymes R&D
The biggest advantage of using enzymes in organic synthesis is their often unsurpassed selectivity. With enzymes, enantioselectivities of > 99% e.e. can be achieved routinely in synthesizing chiral compounds, although by no means in every case. In addition, syntheses catalyzed by enzymes are usually performed at mild conditions (temperature: 20-30 C; pH: 6-8) in aqueous media, which makes biotransformation more convenient for users and environmentally friendly.
SyncoZymes provides a broad range of enzymes which can be used in pharmaceutical, energy and food industry. Moreover, SyncoZymes has developed a powerful enzyme R&D technology platform for developing high quality enzyme libraries for screening, optimizing biotransformation process conditions (pH, temperature, concentration, enzyme loading & immobilization), improving enzymes production efficiency and construct super-enzymes on specific substrates by using directed evolution technology, which includes homology modeling, mutagenesis library construction, and high-throughput screening.
