The enzyme screening kits are prepared with a convenient 96-well plate format. Each enzyme and related buffer salts and coenzyme (whenever it's necessary) are placed inside a well at the plate and reaction can simply be carried out by adding the substrate solution into the well, and shaking the plate at appropriate temperature (mostly room temperature) for a certain period of time (usually <24h).
